Murphy’s Creek Escape Pet Policy
We absolutely love animals at the Escape and welcome dogs, horses and other small animals. All animals must be declared to reception. Dogs and horses incur additional site fees. You are responsible for your animals welfare and behaviour whilst staying in our Park.
Our Dog Rules are based on our contractual agreement with Lockyer Valley Regional Council. Safety is our key priority and we believe our guests should not be negatively impacted by irresponsible owners.
The Lockyer Valley Regional Counsel regulations are as follows:
The rules that govern the caravan park include, but are not limited to:
a. All dogs must be registered by a Local Government and display the registration tag on the collar;
b. All dogs must be under effective control by means of a leash or confined to the site by other means;
c. All waste from dogs must be adequately removed and disposed of in the approved manner (eg
bagged and binned) at least daily;
d. Dogs are not to cause nuisance to other patrons, including excessive barking and roaming;
e. Dogs are to be provided with an adequate supply of water at all times.
Please Note
We have introduced a zero tolerance policy following a recent serious dog on dog attack. You will be asked to leave (or remove your dog from site) if your dog is observed to be off leash. A fenced off-leash  area is provided to allow dogs some free time.  Dogs must still be supervised by their owners when in this enclosure.
- Excessive barking is disruptive to others and must be managed effectively.
- Animals are not permitted in the Ecopool, BBQ area, amenity blocks or bird feeding area.
- Animals are permitted to cool down in our creek (when it has water) providing they remain on leash and under your full control.
