Easter school holidays at Murphys Creek Escape
The Easter break is all about family time, outdoor adventures, and, of course, chocolate! Weโre looking choc-a-block (pun intended) for these school holidays, but there might be a spot or two available, so be sure to get in touch and find out about camping accommodations up for grabs.
If youโre on your way to us this weekend or next week, try making Easter even more special with:
- Run a classic Easter egg hunt around your campsite (just be sure to collect any wrappers or rubbish after)
- Cook up campfire-friendly Easter treatsโchocolate-stuffed bananas or Easter damper, anyone?
- Set a family adventure challenge like a mountain bike riding or a hiking game of eye-spy (who can spot the most native birds or sunbathing lizards?)
Check out our recent blog for more tips and scheduled activities during the Easter school holiday period:

ANZAC Day long weekend: Lest we forget
The ANZAC Day long weekend (25โ27 April) is an opportunity to pause, reflect and spend quality time with loved ones.
Commemorate ANZAC Day in the great outdoors
As well as soaking up all the goodness of a long weekend (especially after a huge 3 days back at school and work following the Easter public holidays ๐), ANZAC Day is a time for remembering the brave Aussie and NZ soldiers who fought for us.
To make your ANZAC stay with us one to remember:
- Watch the sunrise with a quiet moment of reflection
- Brew up some traditional billy tea and damper
- Take in the peaceful surroundings with a hike or bushwalk
- Sink a few beers around a campfire
Attend a local ANZAC Day service
If youโd like to pay your respects in person, thereโs a service on April 25 at 10:00am at Murphys Creek Grounds, followed by light refreshments at the Murphys Creek Community Centre.
The grounds are just a short 10-15 minute drive from us at Murphys Creek Escape. Check out the driving route here.
