Backpackers Camping
Backpacking is where you carry all your valuables on your back while hiking for a day or more. It may also involve camping outdoors. Normally your backpack may contain your tent, sleeping bag and all the necessary gear you need to prepare your meals and collect water while outdoors. Backpacking is all about heading off to a new and exciting adventure while embracing what the country has to offer from the culture, to the different amazing sceneries. The memories one makes while backpacking tend to last for a lifetime. It’s also the perfect way of being as self sufficient as possible while escaping civilization for sometime. Whether you decide to spend your nights at a campsite or in the wilderness is up to you. Remember when backpacking, ensure your luggage is as lightweight as possible.
Glamping
Glamping, also known as glamorous camping, is a style of camping that involves accommodation and facilities that are more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping. It is where nature meets modern luxury. Some of these facilities may include cosy beds, hot showers and bathtubs, electricity, luxurious meals and more.
Glamping allows you to get away and enjoy the great outdoors in the most beautiful places where booking a hotel is not an option, without having to sacrifice comfort, style or those little luxuries we want while on holidays. Additionally, the fuss of setting up your tent and all your belongings doesn’t apply for this type of camping. All you have to do is show up and you will find everything readily prepared for you. Note that just because you are glamping doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the outdoors and what it has to offer. Depending on the camping site you are in, there are so many activities you can indulge in.

Survival Camping

You might end up having to hunt and gather your food and make shelters from available resources. In a survival camp, one learns to use camping gear and to travel only with the key essentials. With just a little bit of self discipline and figuring out how to manage on your own in challenging situations, you will get to enjoy your experience fully as it’s the best type of camping if you want to be as close to nature as possible.
RV or Van Camping
Recreational vehicles (RVs) and campervans combine both travel and camping. RVs are homes on wheels and they have things like inbuilt kitchens, bathrooms and even a dining area. Most campsites in Australia allow campers to park their RVs on their ground while getting to enjoy the amenities and facilities the camp has to offer including the activities as well. Campervans on the other hand are much smaller than RVs as they have enough space for a sleeping area mostly and a few living amenities. Van life can be considered as simple living.

When hammock camping, you will definitely need some trees around that you will use to set up and tie your hammock.
Cabin Camping

Cabins are a nice alternative to tents as you won’t have to worry about setting up your tent or the weather. Cabins tend to range from a simple four walled structure with a bed and basic facilities to luxurious cabins with electricity, cutlery, kitchen appliances and even air conditioning. Some cabin sites also come with fire pits and picnic tables but it’s wise to confirm first with management.
